Aire Valley Leeds is one of the most significant areas of investment opportunity in Leeds and the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Already home to 400 businesses employing around 15,000 people, the area contains over 400 hectares of development land which could accomodate up to 27,000 new jobs, several thousand new homes and other facilities over the next 10 - 15 years.
The Strategic Vision for Aire Valley Leeds sets out an ambitious programme which will re-establish the area as the economic heart of Leeds. It will be a distinctive sector of the City reflecting the diverse range of working, living and recreational opportunities on offer.

The East Leeds Link Road is one of the most important infrastructure schemes in the city for many years, linking Aire Valley Leeds to the national motorway network at M1 Jn 45, and providing a new gateway to the city. The Link Road is central to the regeneration of Aire Valley Leeds by opening up key development sites with potential to accommodate approximately 20,000 jobs. The road opened in February 2009.
