How to use these pages
This section contains information about the major development sites in Aire Valley Leeds. It shows maps and aerial photographs of some of the key sites, together with planning details (the site profile and the Unitary Development Plan proposals). Please note that since this plan was produced the Supertram proposals have been dropped.
CLICK HERE to go to the map site
To navigate around the site:
Map Options.
Select a Map background.
To change the background select 'Change Background' from the 'Select a map tool' drop down and then click on the map.
The options available are :
Map.
Unitary Development Plan.
Aerial Photograph.
Select a map tool
then click on the map to activate the option.('zoom' and 'recenter' will zoom/recenter on the area you clicked).
The options available are :
Zoom in/out
Zooms the map centering at the point where you clicked.
Identify a Feature and Zoom in
Click inside the site boundary, the site is selected and the map zooms in to within 100m of the site.
Recenter
Recenters the map on the point where you clicked.
Zoom to Original Extent
Resets the map back to the default scale.
Identify a Feature
Click inside the site boundary, the site is selected.
Change Background
Click on the map to change the map background (e.g. to Aerial photography).
Search options
You can search the database by entering the street name (e.g. Cross Green Lane) or by using the AVEA reference number, if you have a map showing the numbered development sites.
For your convenience, this information is repeated on each of the map pages.
